Following a loss to Kentucky, Auburn has fired football coach Hugh Freeze, who managed just 15 victories in his two-plus seasons on the Plains.

The Pavia-Freeze rivalry had been set to resume on Nov. 8 at FirstBank Stadium, with Vanderbilt football hosting Auburn after losses from both programs on Nov. 1. Vanderbilt and Auburn are set for a 3 p.m. kickoff in Nashville, televised by the SEC Network.
