Turnout approached nearly half the number of votes cast in last year’s presidential election — an unprecedented campus showing for an off-cycle election year.

In the call, paid for by the Pennsylvania Democratic Party, Shapiro urges voters to vote “yes” to retain three sitting Democrats on the Supreme Court for another 10-year term.

Three Democrats and one Republican were elected to fill four open seats in the state’s top trial court for Central and Northern New York. The four seats were previously held by three Republicans and one Democrat.

On Nov. 4, Pennsylvanians will vote on the retention of three justices who have sat on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court since 2015 – Justices Christine Donohue, David Wecht and Kevin Dougherty.

When the president signed an executive order in March asserting radical powers over elections, he invited lawsuits. He’s now losing the court fights.

Syracuse, N.Y. — Eight people are running for four open judge seats for the top trial court in Central and Northern New York. Four Republican Party and four Democratic Party candidates are vying to become State Supreme Court Justices for the state’s 5th Judicial District, which spans Onondaga, Oswego, Oneida, Herkimer, Jefferson and Lewis counties.

The elections determine if the three current state Supreme Court justices, all Democrats, will serve another 10-year term.
