Anaheim officials shot down a proposed gate tax measure on Disneyland from being placed on the Nov. 2026 ballot.

Disney and YouTube TV are heading towards a possible blackout, with millions of viewers at risk of losing access to ABC, ESPN, and other Disney-owned channels. The existing distribution agreement between the two media giants is set to expire on 30 October at 11:59 p.

After Disneyland prices raised, Anaheim officials are debating asking voters to consider an admission tax on large entertainment venues.

The Anaheim City Council has opted not to advance a proposed tourism tax ballot measure that would have imposed a 3% tax on admission tickets and a 10% tax on larger parking areas in the city.
