Portugal will return to the Formula 1 calendar in 2027 and 2028 at the Portimao circuit which hosted rounds of the world championship in 2020 and 2021.

F1 will feature six sprint races in 2026, with the first event taking place in Shanghai followed by Miami. Silverstone returns as a sprint venue for the first time since 2021, while Montreal, Zandvoort and Singapore are set to host their first-ever sprint weekend.
