The Gunners’ record for consecutive clean sheets in all competitions is eight. The feat was first accomplished between April and October in 1903, but that record could be equalled if Arsenal blank Slavia Prague on Tuesday in the Champions League.
Mikel Arteta addressed managing squad depth ahead of a trip to Slavia Praha for Arsenal. The Gunners are missing Martin Zubimendi, who is now injured, through an accumulation of yellow cards and Viktor Gyökeres due to an injury that forced him off at half time against Burnley.
Arsenal have a Champions League clash against Slavia Prague to contend with after their strong run of form in all competitions – but they’ll be without Viktor Gyokeres on their trip to Czechia after he failed to make the training group.
Viktor Gyokeres was not involved in Arsenal’s training session in front of the cameras ahead of the trip to Slavia Prague. The striker scored in the Gunners’ 2-0 win over Burnley on Saturday before having to be replaced at half-time because of an injury concern.

Oxlade-Chamberlain is a free agent after his stint in Turkey with Beskitas came to an end with a mutual termination of his contract.
Granit Xhaka has claimed it will be a special reunion with Arsenal when he faces off against his old side with Sunderland over the weekend. The midfielder spent seven years with the Gunners, plenty of which were not plain sailing and came with their challenges.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is training at former club Arsenal as he attempts to regain fitness and find a new club. The ex-England and Liverpool midfielder, 32, has been a free agent since leaving Turkish side Besiktas in August.
