Auburn fell to Kentucky 10-3 on Saturday night at Jordan-Hare Stadium. The game included Hugh Freeze making a quarterback change before fans serenaded the Auburn coach with boos and “fire Hugh” chants as he left the field. With the loss, Auburn falls to 4-5 on the season and 1-5 in the SEC.
Now that the regular season has been put to bed, this week marks the first round of the Kentucky high school football state playoffs. There was some fallout after last week. Most notably, Ballard moved out of the rankings after being shut out by Woodford County.
Off its loss to rival Georgia, Florida football will face Kentucky in Lexington, seeking its first win there since 2019.
