A survivor of the UK train mass stabbing has described how she begged for her life, and the madman attacker told her “the devil’s not going to win.”

Jordan Walid, who grew up in Hastings, said the town was a "good environment". "It has been a smooth ride," he told the BBC in Broomgrove, known for being one of the most deprived parts of the borough. He added he "totally disagreed" with the government deprivation data, which did not reflect the reality on the ground.
