One person was killed and two others were injured early Saturday morning in a shooting in the Dinkytown neighborhood of Minneapolis.

When officers arrived, two adults were found with at least one gunshot wound. They were taken to a hospital with serious injuries, according to police.

The boy was walking on the shoulder close to the white fog line at 1:30 a.m. Saturday when struck, the Monroe County sheriff said. Driver inattention is a factor.
