In what is known as a "Topping Out" ceremony, UNC Health celebrated the final phase of the steel construction of our new surgical tower at the UNC Medical Center by placing the ceremonial last steel beam into place yesterday. The beam was signed with words of encouragement from our team members and community partners. At more than 357,000 square feet, the new, seven-story Surgical Tower will be the largest single building on the UNC Hospitals Chapel Hill campus. More info: https://news.unchealth
