There are seven secretive species on the reserve that have earned a reputation throughout Africa of being elusive and challenging to find. Winter at Tswalu is the ideal time to slow down and get off the safari vehicle with your tracker to examine prints and other signs left in the sand by the likes of aardvark, brown hyena, aardwolf or even the shy pangolin.
