THE MAIL RAIL - THE SMALL LONDON UNDERGROUND I had a lovely time exploring the small tunnels of the Mail Rail in London. The Mail Rail was an underground, driverless electric railway that ran from 1927 to 2003 to transport mail between sorting offices. The tracks stretched from Paddington to Whitechapel.
